Gambatte 2 days notice to do an off road marathon, with a longest run in the last year of 12 miles?.... My 1st LDWA event and I loved it. I heard this may be the last time this events held, I get the reason is a lot of the Marshalling etc is of advanced years? It'd be a real pity. multiterrainer Due to hardly having run since Osmotherley Phoenix and only just got the go-ahead from Physio to start 'easy flattish' runs again after calf strain I chose to just walk/run the 21 miler - did roughly 70% walk 30% easy running for a time of 5.37 - looks like it was the two Elvet Strider Fetchies who overtook me late on - I checked that you were doing the 27 before inviting you to overtake! :)..oh and calf is fine too :) Horsforth Fellandale Club, LDWA
