Hillier than i was expecting but still quite pleased with the time
EdJ
As others have said, the heat and the hills made it hard work, but this is an absolute gem of a race. Just the right number of people, beautiful scenery, friendly and supportive marshalls, efficient race HQ, good goodie bag. Can't think of anything to improve. I thought the support and marshalling in Pebmarsh were particularly impressive - separating two streams of runners, cars and supporters along a narrow country road. Would recommend it unreservedly!

Disaster...

Very sunny and quite warm. This race was very well organised and excellent cheering and support from local people who were happy to share all sorts of goodies such as jelly babies, mars bars and jaffa cakes. One cheery young lady who was very vocal even had a pair of pom poms! Really nice race - would definitely do it again.
Teknik
Hot. sunburnt. HR never went below 80% from the start
Bru-Bru
Ambitious attempt at a second mara within 4 weeks of Brighton :0
Gingerkid
Just done the London in a time of 3.35.17, really wanted a sub 3.30 - know I can do it. All the way round London I knew something wasn't right - wonder if it was hay fever/slight cold that just put me that bit under par. Training for ultras now so thought I could do worse than stick another attempt in! But it might just blow up in my face!
DickyF
It was hard today...my lack of mileage showed....heat and hills made it hard but a super event.
Motters
Hilly & hot but a lovely race
Ricardo
Bit painful early on with my knee, but after 5 or 6 miles everything was great :) Bit narked to have missed a PB by 15 seconds :S
