Nessie
Had to DNS due to having missed 4 weeks training with a recurrent colf/flu thingy. :o(
Hendo79
really comfortable, miles 23-25 was a little difficuit, but only lost 25 secs per mile....a new PB for the course, well chuffed concidering i cycled 110.2miles into driving wind and rain the day before in getting to the race
Big Al Widepants
No presh but I HAVE to break 4 this time. FLM 2004 was the start of it. Moray 2006 was nearly there. Dublin 2006 was an illness affected backward step. Surely 40 miles a week must count for something. Trying HRM training this time. UPDATE: In taper mode now having done all the training. Wee shoulder injury which should clear up in time. There will be no excuses. UPDATE: Quite simply the best running experience of my life.
Running Beans
Been a few years since I have run a Marathon, but feel I am capabile of going below 3 hours going with other race distance times. I dont want to push my luck however as all the other marathons that I have done starting with my first which was my best have sadly gone wrong and got progresivly worse.

This will not be taking place as I got bedded down with the cold just after christams and missed training and dusiquently the entry was never sent in.
SueW
In truth I'd settle for anything under 4 hours. I'd be thrilled and challenged to reach 3:50!

Update - I struggled today and finished outside my target time of 4 hours. I'm really disappointed! Only good point is that my time was more than 50 minutes faster than the only other time I've run at Lochaber in 2005. Sorry to those who bet on me and lost points...........
magoo
Post RACE UPDATE: well, came away with a pb so didn't disappoint all who bet on me. Disappointed with my run tho'...went all out for the 2:45 from ther start...5m in 31:15...10m in 62:30...halfway in 1:22...felt great then went through 20 in 2:05:20 (20m pb!)...then at 21m someone switched my legs off!!!..started to slow...23m in 2:26.....25 in 2:41...ground to a halt with 0.5m to go...then pure determination and encouragement got me to the line to finish!! Gutted I didn't maintain what was potentially a sub 2:45 at 20m and it's back to the drawing board once again....heh...PB tho!! ;-)....but gutted!!:-(
Apart from that it was a great race and enjoyed the whole weekend. I thought conditions were perfect for the run and wind didn't seem to bother me at anytime and slight drizzle at times was welcoming. Plenty water and sports drink stations and the bearded character in his garden with the blaring music at 4m and 22m was entertaining going out but I had to force a wave on the way back!!
Hendy
Felt good suprisingly after the 100 mile cycle up on the saturday.
fatface
Knee injury has nearly cleared up, so Lochaber is back on. My secret desire of sub 4 is now highly unlikely, but I reckon a PB is very attainable. I'm betting me anyway ;-)
BET BET BET BET BET BET BET!!!!!!!

It rained. A lot. And a 22 minute PB to boot.
mokina
well..I am too tired to say anything right now :-)
CPMINAS
Glorious scenery despite the rain! Definite PB promise.
sue c
Great race, enjoyed and hated (last 6) at same time! Rained and rained, 4th V35. Paced well
sloth
Chris took ill at 16 miles so we slowed down to make sure he finished. still had one of the most enjoyable marathons to date.
rupert tb
First Marathon. Great first twenty - 2h33m. Then all sorts of muscles gave me gip. No "wall" - got the nutrition right, at least. But lots of niggles and aches started. Well chuffed to get under 3h30 in the end.
