the batmobile weighed us down !

An in my dreams time..

Pretty pleased with this as my time.. may not be my quickest but getting quicker ! And not a flat route either
RobinBertrand
Fantastic
johnnyagain
Perfect racing conditions, sunny and a nice temperature. I had a very poor preparation for this - less than half the mileage and virtually none of the quality work that I would normally do. Mostly due to two heavy falls and crocking my back. My expectations were low but I surprised myself. I didn't really believe that I could do a good one until about 9 miles, which tells me that I could actually have done better. Nevertheless - dead chuffed! (Vet 50 pb)
CStar
Anything sub 1:50 would be great given the lack of training until the last few weeks. Over 2 hours would not be good!
Sub 1:40 would be a miracle.
Nic.1
Better than expected but hard work.
Gilly*
Always a great race and fab to be back running again after a buggered shin.
smifffie
Beasted my legs at Road Relays say before :-(

peebeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :-)

I was carrying the Batmobile around with Stouty!
Iron_Mum
Just perfect: steady pace, easy effort, sprint finish, happy happy happy :-)
Kate1307
I actually ran 13.24 miles...
Hills of Death (HOD)
Doing it at MP so around 1.44/45
Heavyweight
Entered
Kenny_Boy
Training run - not PB effort - save your bets people!
gray
Sure I actually gained weight during the run thanks to the chaps liberally distributing Haribo, Jelly Babies and Fizzy Coke Bottles at 7, 8 and 9 miles respectively....
John Tovell
Great race, great result. My target was to beat 1h 50m and to achieve this by keeping clear blue water between me and the 1h 50m pacer. Felt nice and strong until mile 9 when the pacer caught up with me. Then I had to dig in and it became quite painful! Really great support all the way round, this event has got better since last I did it.
lildude (nee BFC)

Groundhog
A great race, pb and feltpretty goo going into the last couple of miles.
Vicksta
Had a good run under perfect conditions. God I hate that dual carriageway section but at least there was no wind this year! V. Pleased to be back under 1:40 for a Half.
TW
Returning from injury, so a training run...10 steady miles, then a push for last 3.
Alfadan
Took it easy, been out of running for 6 weeks due to broken arm, cast only came off on Thursday. A nice sunny days run/jog, and a beer at 7 miles!
mystique100
(a) bandaged up my injuries, but they started hurting after mile 2 (of 13.1)

(b) The 1hr50mins pace maker I was following was speeding up and slowing down erratically, had enough and did my own thing at mile 7
(c) Mile 10 realised that I had gone off a little too fast, not able to achieve the goal of 1hr50mins, Felt as if I was now going backwards passing only the folks who had stopped or were walking ;-)

...but still managed a 'reasonable' time or 2hr:4mins. Under the circumstances I am happy. Getting ready to put a full pack of ibuprofen gel on my aching parts and will look for the next 10K and the next half marathon and what crackpot scheme exists to aid my weight loss goal ;-)
The Plodder
Slow start due to congestion. Great weather. Finished strongly so happy :)
deebxx
Started off dehydrated! Not good.....now suffering the consequences. PB though
donny
had a beer half way round !!
Enaoslm
216th out of 13000. Another great race. Started near the front so got off to a flying start and maintained it throughout. 5th for BMHAC but those boys were flying. Perfect conditions.
TrailsurferUK
Brilliant sunny day. Ran really well and hit a PB. All went for a drink along canal later.
Bumface
PB!
