Watch time for now. Would not have running this today have been a better option? Guess it might, but will never know. Course lot tougher than expected, winds made worse, tummy upset worse still and various areas of discomfort worse still. In some ways pleased to have still pulled out time I did though around 3 - 4 minutes slower than expected/hoped for. I actually think it is about there just noww if on right course and body ok.
Chip time now and 37th position overall out of 341 finnishers. Reasonable result for a bad day for me.
Wet, windy and hilly! Still struggling with the cold so delighted to make it round in one piece. Very well organised wee race.
Woohoo. A massive pb by nearly 10 minutes Plan was just to finish , so to do my first sub 2 half mara feels great . Thought the organisation today was superb and thanks to all the marshalls and police for their support on a busy route with lots of traffic . Fabolous job they done on what Im sure was a very poignant day for many. Great race!
57.5 Degrees of Pain
Wet, windy and undulatuing!
struggled all the way was so glad to finish still dont feel 100% very tough course tired!!!!
Coz I can
Going for the Guinness World Record for fastest half dressed as a Doctor!
Happy with that. Hillier than expected and it has one of those cruel finishes where you have to turn back on yourself.
