RichardNathan Wow! A really pleasing run today. I checked my fetch notes from the last Heaton Park parkrun I did and found they helped quite a bit. Basically, the second lap of this course is quite steep (as it climbs round to the right where the lion statues are then continues through the foresty part). I paced myself okay starting faster than I would usually and slowing at the steeper parts. Annoyingly I had to stop to tie my shoe lace up after 2k which is a mistake I wont be making again! The course was marked each kilometer wich I found really helpful not having a garmin. I ran in my new tri suit today too which was exciting!! Heaton park parkrun is not completely flat. I would love to do a flat 5k in 20 mins in the near future. Prob will be after the triathlon though when i will be able to focus more on my running. Unaffiliated 19:12 20:24 21:59 20:48 61.80
