Baza Good run, enjoyed the 1st 2 mile. Paid for it on the soft sand after the turn, but held on to a few places back on the firmer stuff Carnegie Harriers 21:12 26:59 26:59 61.95
cake muncher Placed 14th overall and 4th vet. A very tactical race as nobody wanted to take the lead into the wind on the way out. There was a fair bit more soft sand than usual at the turn and we then had to dodge millions of jellyfish on the way back. A tough race but a great atmosphere. Fat Boy Tough race on St Andrews West Sands. The firm sand was fine but the soft sand was a nightmare. Finished 7th / 161 finishers and 50 seconds adrift of the race winner moving into tonights Hill Race. Carnegie Harriers 21:13 24:17 24:17 71.06
