JamieKai *chameleon* Heaton's second birthday, my 50th Heaton parkrun. I believe we have ordered sunshine. And *cake* [Post-race] Got up late and had a hurried 'warmup' run to the start. Legs weren't feeling great, so decided to take the race a little easier than planned - first two kilometres sat on Greg's shoulder chatting watching the boys fight it out in the pack (and the leader streak out in front), then decided to accompany a faster runner up the hill. After that it was a case of picking off the struggling guys one by one... Came in 9th, a little aggrieved as I would normally have the beating of 8th guy, but pleased with the race - nothing hurting, just felt good. Straight off for flapjack and cake and chat with lovely random strangers :D Next up: Cannon Hill? Unaffiliated 17:59 18:09 18:30 19:04 67.40
