Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

A good run,the weather was better than I expected.I was very pleased with my time,I didn't think that I would get home in under 6 hours.I still found the coarse very tough but I was able to run and enjoy the 'Seven Sisters'this year.
I don't know about next year yet,so watch this space!
wow , my first marathon and what a toughie.
sooooo very pleased with my time. and what a good set up.
good marshalls, good drink stations, good food, good start, good finish, and boy o boy what a good course,
looking forward to next year already.
this is a tough event. still, managed to be only 15 mins off my flat marathon pb, so pleased overall. can't wait to do a few more mara's and maybe an ultra next year in preparation for this again!

matt is amazing to win this in such a quick time and also with Snowdon and Dublin to come in the following two days.
That's a tough old race. Good fun though and great views. Great to catch up with so many people.
Faster than last year. (Couldn't get any slower!) Still a tough one but pleased to finish under 6 hours.

Horid course severe drops everywhere

Another great Beachy Head Marathon. Felt comfortable by the top of the first climb so pushed on. Nobody came with me (bit worrying) so just kept going. Hard work to keep it up over the second half of the course, plus feet were getting quite sore. Was expecting a trail of runners to overtake me but no one appeared. Had a very warm welcome coming down the final hill first. Had a chat with the organisers and mayor and also got interviewed on the local live radio.
Hope to be back next year.

Very tough day twisted my ankle about 4miles in.
Too Much Water
Very enjoyable on a tough but fun course, great atmosphere, part 1 of 3 for the weekend.
met George from Tunbridge Wells and along with Tony we kept each other going along those seven sisters - fantastic
