I've decided that is preparing properly. A huge pile of curry and half a bottle of red wine will be my pre-race preparation from now on. A good solid improvement on 2 years ago and my first ever sub 50 10K.
Well, that was pretty close to prediction. Let the legs choose the pace and tried to keep up. Last quarter was pretty hard going. A glorious day for weather (and with that sun, surprisingly warm, especially as my car was icebound before leaving). Well done to Fitter Stu for the sub-50 and Charlotte for 3rd female.
great day for a run. Not bad for a current level of fitness-always hope for better. As usual great organsiation and great after race hospitality.
