Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

This event is listed on these dates:

2 days after Cork Marathon. weather very strong westerley winds
Painful left heel plantar fascitis

Out and back course - strong following wind out, difficult 5K return into headwind.
Couldn't really do much about this one. Mother nature had a big hand in the outcome. The first 5K was very quick and I was inside my PB time on the turn, but on the turn we found ourselves running against a very strong wind and the second 5K was a lot slower. A little disappointing.
Race organiser says that there was a 25 mph headwind from the turn point at the halfway point (So it was a tailwind for the first half :-) )
Rock Steady
I just run and hope
Really tough race coming back second half , wind was far to strong so my pb was right out the window :-((

Ran with Danny .. First run after starting to see chiropractor .. Out from goring gap to lido wind was behind us turn around and so the harriers website say ' 25 mile an hour wind ' done by fordy but to be fair played it safe ...
