DrDebs ideally would have like close to 17 for this. But it wasn't really the day - first hot day of the year and rape seed to contend with. Not conducive for asthmatics or hayfever suffers, but tried as hard as i could. 1st leg - elbows, pushing, shoving - not funny! and then mis-judged a tree, which took my hair out and stole my hair clips!!! ha ha. heval It was v hot and i got a stitch for last mile or so, so ended up running slower not quicker than midlands! Ran 5th lef got Notts AC A team, believe we finished 21st overall. Edinburgh Athletic Club, Leeds City AC 19:47 19:47 19:45 19:54 71.36

SuperSooks Leg 1 - didn't have a good race but ran my hardest! Got a really bad stitch below right ribs, so spent all the downhill section trying to shift it and so had to slow down and it never truely went away, though I thought I had slowed more and felt like I was going backwards, so not too bad a time on the closk considering. We were 16th team, which is a great result especially as we had some fast runners missing. Great day out as always, didn't appreciate the heat whilst running but it was fab for afterwards for spectating and having a picnic! Winchester & District AC 19:11 19:16 19:16 74.01
