Lisrun Lovely sunny day, but the wind felt strong and in our faces when we got to Tynemouth with 4 miles to go. Its good to run by the sea. Very pleased with the time after Friday and a 90 minute slow run yesterday. Technical running shirt, cereal bars, drink bottle, water and knapsack to the finishers. Finishers received different makes of technical shirt, mine was a red Nike with a half zip. 100 Marathon Club, North East Marathon Club 45:35 45:35 47:55 64.17

Vicki: Graceless Whippet Great race, really enjoyed it. First two miles were out of the wind but after the climb up past the castle there was a head wind the whole way to the finish. Managed to tuck in behind a really tall guy for some of the way and finished in a respectable time. Missed some of the mile markers but got 14:00 @ 2miles, 29:34 @ 4miles, 37:01 @ 5miles, 45:23 @ 6miles Jarrow & Hebburn AC 43:52 46:08 46:30 46:54 64.06
