Windy race, flat course. Bad stomach cramps between miles 7 - 9.
Gonna really try and get under 1:31,
Really happy with run, was looking for a PB and got one, just wished they had started the young ones race once we had gone, was cold standing around.
Have to agree with KJ, the wind was a bit of a pain, particularly the last 5 miles or so. Seemed to be constantly in your face.
kept to 7.5 minute miles upto 9 miles then slowed down. had a pain in my left leg. but finished under my target time, so im happy.
1st ever half - was recovering from flu.
