Melksham runner Nice race, but started in the slowest wave and spent most of the race avoiding slow runners and walkers. Quite a big race (24000 runners and walkers) for the streets of Southsea. Cormorant Sure enough, another Personal Worst, but this is an annual occasion for Gray and me. (Last year we had to go back when I liost my phone; this year I started feeling woozy in the afternoon.) Took the race really easy (at about 5 miles thought 'why am I bothering to do this?)', the last couple of miles along the sea were not too bad and I finished with the heel-clicking flourish I employed at the British 10K. kitty biscuit 1st time that I have ever ran in an organised 10mile race.....FAB...did a PB...was very very busy,enjoyed the whole day....was a v long day even tho we only live in the Salisbury area...took 2 hours to get outta Portsmouth,despite having a latte,changing in the car,ringing my brother,mum etc etc then going for a walk and finding an Indian the roads were still choc a block...oh there was a fire in a laundrette up from where we were eating,which didnt help the traffic flow!!!
