Insomniac My recurring pre marathon nightmare is that I find myself running through a shopping centre, so I couldn't resist entering this race, even if it's only a marathon recovery race. This course was clearly very short Ran in 16:40, except the course was very short Winchester & District AC 20:17 20:17 22:00
JonCPRC I ran the course in 17mins 53 secs, to which it would have been a fantastic new 5K PB for me but the route was clearly short by at least 1km! Whilst it was fun and unusual race venue, it should have been labelled as a 'fun run' and not a race as it was well short of the official 5K distance. As such I will not be entering my course time as it is not a true PB. I think the race organisers should have a long hard think before they set this event up again. For at least next time, give the runners the respect they deserve and make sure it is the distance it is specified to be. Chineham Park Running Club 21:23 21:23 25:00
