Andy 1 shoe Money Felt terrible for the first 6 k,running into a strong wind and seemed to be running uphill for most of it! i got to the top of a large hill at around halfway and i new it was mostly flat for the 2nd half of the race so i got my head down and worked hard over the last 5k. really happy with my time and i finished 34th out of a field of 700 runners.:) Sparkhill Harriers 42:49 47:24 48:20 47:24 72.32

Mr J Seemed to be going backwards throughout the last two thirds - miracle that I got the time I did. I was expecting over 57 and possibly 58, thats how much I seemed to be slowing. Unaffiliated 53:25 56:07 57:00 56:07 57.81

disorganized can be slippy on the hills this time of year. 56:30 prediction is slower than half pace, so should be doable. But recovering from flu and GP says no vigorous exercise so I've allowed an extra couple of minutes.// As it turned out, weather was wonderful - warm, sunny, pleasant breeze; body was in very sad state, especially lungs and legs: felt worse than in any other race I've ever done, relieved only by the enjoyable 2 or 3km of delicious downhill. Felt much better after the race than at any earlier stage of the day. Nevertheless lungs still found to be full of unspeakable stuff and making the sort of noise people used to refer to as a Cherwell Runners & Joggers, Trail Running Association 56:44 1:07:40 1:00:20 1:07:40 61.64
