Very warm. Felt very tired, having just driven for nearly 4 hours to get to the race. Much slower than Clydebank 10k the week before.
Forgot watch which made it difficult to pace, and also started too far back which meant picking my way through about 200 during the 1st K- never a good idea. Was really struggling by 6K, but still passed 4 others who had dropped out due to the heat. Times in general were down from Clydebank last week.
Hard run, warm and humid conditions. Some of the runners were dropping like flies.
