Not racing, just pacing. Very pleasant run out, well organised event, good course (even with the hills). Better weather would be nice next time.
Made it around with a new PB! Much harder than when it was Capital City Challenge. But got a PB, so can't complain and fab goody bag!
ok, really thought i'd struggle to get sub 60 in this due to almost 3 full weeks of non running, last run was my wedding day (15th April) til friday( 5th may!) legs were so achy on sat i really doubted myself about making it round, hey ho, i did it in 59.07, even with all the hills, the rain blah blah blah, onwards and upwards, here's to the next one.......
Enjoyed the run and liked the hills well organised race.
Cant seem to access chip times so time is from my watch.
Started running 12 weeks ago and this was my first race. I enjoyed it so much I'm now thinking about what to do next. Delighted to do it in under an hour but Lauriston Place at 9km nearly finished my off. Managed to recover for a sprint finish.
Good strong effort around this very testing 10K route. Went through 5K in 17.49 but slowed considerably over the second half with the hills. Well organised event and reckon I finished about 60th overall in a field of over 5000 runners.
Well organised race that I enjoyed despite the rain and hills! Met lots of good people which was the best bit. Finished 724 out of 5500 so should be happy!
With a 'bad knee'!
The run round Arthur's Seat just knocked my pace off completely and i just couldn't get it back. Finished VERY fast though.
My first ever race! Anything under an hour was always going to be a bonus!
very wet, but a good run
First time running this race and wasn't wearing socks to put chip onto so no official time. So can't remember exact time.
Damn, that climb up Arthur's seat nearly killed me!.....
