brotherjohn Lovely evening for a race and it went really well. Went for it from the start, maybe a bit too fast for the first mile, but managed to keep up a good pace to the finish. Hard work, but worth it. 16:54 on a mostly off road course, got to be happy with that. Also won the best overall male of the series. Dorset Doddlers 16:38 16:52 16:59 16:54 88.56

Flat Out Fi This was the last of the summer 5k races. Had been ill earlier in the week and not really eating properly yet so was more worried about getting round ok. Was a lovely sunny evening and felt I paced it well. Came 5th lady overall, just behind Fiona T. Final results - Saffron Striders were 2nd again and 2nd in the overall mens and ladies for the this season. Cambridge Tri won. Unaffiliated 19:40 19:51 20:00 74.37
