This event is listed on these dates:
Placed in last group at start with people in %^$%^& costumes. Spent most of the race threading my way though people from earlier groups walking and barely running!!!!!
Ave 07:34 but not how I wanted to get there. Splits - 6:58, 7:27, 7:55, 7:51, 7:36, 7:42, 2:10(0.29m @ 7:30/m). Website Results - 5Km = 23:19 & 10Km = 47:36 (Last year`s time = 22:37 & 46:08)
Can't believe I had to walk for a bit !!!! Bloody kids and bloody chickenpox meant very poor training. Still, a nice race - bring on 2012 !!
Couldn't help but sign up for this again next year - targetting a pb on what was quite a quick course , aim for 46? but not sure how likely this is - better get on the interval sprint training!
Very warm and forgot my inhaler so wheezing like a knackered concertina most of the way - fun though and a good atmosphere. La Radcliffe and Mo Farrah had finished before they even got us across the start line!
crap, fucking crap... my performance

Not expecting a good time as i have not been running for a while due to being ill.Pleased with my time.
Nice hot day!!!
Ran with Jackie & bev
Ran with Gillian - with hamstring injury
Same as last year - so not good.
Hoping to pace Amy round to a PB.
tough finish - v.pleased!!!!!
Wombling Plodder (Welsh Womble)
my first 10km race so excited and nervous at the same time - a few curved balls have been thrown at the training programme so I am just going out to enjoy the run and set a 10km time which I can work on
Great race. Second 5k too slow. Made it to 5k in 21:35 so was on for 43:10. GPS watch threw me out as mile 4 recorded a short mile due to buildings
Hot weather, great race
Perfect day, the sun came out and it got warm but the route and the crowd support made this a hugely enjoyable experience.
Pace: 7m24 per mile
Very happy with the time. Very few runs and not the perfect build-up to the race. Better prep may have led to a new PB as conditions were perfect, never mind.
Shocker of a run. Too hot and too windy. Legs were tired after 2k. Hard to fathom how you can run a half marathon quicker than a pace you can manage for 10k, but there you go!!! Most other runners I spoke to were way off their PBs too, so not reading much into it...
another poor race, badly organised start with far to many slow runners to get past.
cant seem to cope with hot runs also.
Not bad with no proper training!
The very first of many!
So much better organised than last year's ASICS British London 10k that I did, with a better start and a better finish. Will definitely do the BUPA 10000 again, definitely won't do the British London 10k again.
Fecking hot and windy. Only gun times listed for UK Championship runners on race website. Not a happy bunny.
Stich and unexpected toilet stop put pay to any resonable time
I love this event and did not want to pull out just because of my knee and so l will adopt a walk, walk, walk, run a teensy bit method today.
Weather was beautiful, crowds just as supportive and l felt okay. Got to 6km and knee felt gippy but l trotted along very slowly and FINISHED..........wahey see you next year.
went out to quick 2nd race back calf still hurt a bit
The Rain King
Day started well, had a good warm up, stretched etc, was on my own so i had plenty of time to have a prepare for the run. Got my replacement race number dumped my stuff and headed over to the start. By this time the sun had come out and it was already boiling stood about in the starting pen for a bout 20 min, tried to keep moving but it was a bit pointless with the amount of people there. Saw Karen and V in the pen behind (Didn't know it was them at first tho - just thought "i know them" lol) They walked past me as the jumped into the same pen as me and stood like one person away! Race finally started and i was already too hot. Passed K & V (Knew it was them now coz i spotted her Club vest from the back) Gave a wave and carried on. Was on target for the first 3k, Lost a few seconds on the 4th and by the 5th was 1 & 1/2 min down. from there on the heat was too much, Kept my concentration but it was an effort to try not to loose much more time, could barley breath, not used to running in the heat. So will just need to learn from this and try again next time.

Hard run - many peoples times down on expected. Course not that fast, warm and breezy weather.
Broke 50 mins! Well organised race, unlike the ASICS London 10k!
