automatic shoes Well it did take me 10 seconds to pass the start line ! But in truth I found this hard, with my legs still feeling quite stiff from Friday. Aim was to run ks @ about 5:20-5:25, and was more or less on schedule at halfway. But the long uphill at around 7k plus the fairly strong wind somewhat did for me, and at 9k I was about 40 seconds behind. But pleased to make some of this up, with the last k being my fastest. But this is one of my favourite races of the year (this time even missing a club race to take part) and is always well organised. Well done Manuden ! Ware Joggers 52:03 54:15 54:00 54:15 56.68

Flat Out Fi It was a v windy day for this race!! But was glad that the rain held off until lunchtime! I was v pleased to come 1st lady overall! jonoshea A well organised but challenging 10k. Full of hills on a nice out and back course. The monsoon of the previous few days made the trail section a bit slippy but only wimps would complain about this. Marshalling was top class and the race was well organised from start to finish. Of particular note was the bloke in the Pink Morphsuit who stood out somewhat (I'm guessing he must have lost a bet to a superior being) I could see that catching on !! Marathon Mike Struggled for first 2K must have been shock of hill. Then helped Jasmine (first race) from 6k to home Woodford Green AC with Essex Ladies 51:51 53:48 57:58 50.40
