Screeners Evil hills, but I was warned it was hilly so it wasn't too much of a surprise - but they just went on and on and on. I wasn't running for any particular time (good job with those hills) so was pleased to get round in under 10 min miles. Hot and windy too. Race seemed pretty well organised, congested at the start, which was unavoidable with the narrow road, and the cones in the middle of the road nearly tripped up a few people but lovely and scenic, marshalls seemed pretty happy (probably glad not running up those hills!) and all in all, not a bad race. I think I will be back next year (apparently course was measured at 6.3 which puts my pace at 9.40mm - so v happy with that) Elswick Harriers 56:42 58:46 1:00:54 50.41
