Really difficult day. Not properly recovered from tendon problem, right foot/ankle. In pain all the way, should probably have stopped at three miles. Well organised race though and reasonable result in the circs.
Marcus
A nice day for running! Still suffering a bit from the virus that messed up my training so it was nice to have a comfortable run for this time and to finish with a bit left. Mysteriously quiet again out in the City and zero signing for the car-park at Halewood. Otherwise this is an enjoyable and well-organised event but WHY can't people start properly? Every big race is always the same - you walk the first part because of all the 2 hour people up at the front, then a mad sprint, then blocked again by the Runner's World 8 minute group who went through 2 1/2 miles in about 18:30. It settled down after 3 miles into a good steady overtaking session right up to the finish.
Hills of Death (HOD)
Really looking forward to this 1st one Im really excited Tommy. Went to Liverpool for the evening didn't sleep a wink what hell. Woke up swaying around like a drunk person. Queing for toilets for 10 mins firecraker went off had to join at the back then strated weaving in and out. Did it any way :) first half race on for prediction time. Hill slowed me up a bit never recovered from that really added 1 mins onto miles after that. Made it 13.71 on Garmin !!!Good race though - surface uneven bit of tarmacing from the boys from the blackstuff required eh !
Bazza
Get in there....under 2 hours at last!

I love you Garmin, kept me slowing myself down and saving energy....and then gave me the kick when I needed to pick the pace up.

What a boring race though!
1408
New PB, another well organised event.
Tri Foxy
Chuffed to bits with this result, been under the weather all week and my left thigh went all wibbly and sore at 11miles. Congrats to everyone who finished.

2old

First race, thought it was great though bit lonely along the dock. Excellent organisation, would def do again
