MoscowFlyer Second race back from injury, was hoping for 36 minutes and came in with 35:22 so pleased overall. Got caught well off guard at the start as the starter said we'd be off in five minutes and started the gun three minutes later while I was still fiddling with my iPod. Strange course, nice downhills stretched along the course with an uphill that took me by surprise towards the end of mile 4. Not a PB course in my opinion as you lose more than a few seconds in the first half mile due to a bottleneck out of the cricket club and then narrow turns until things open up a bit, and some of the terrain going through the woodland is only big enough for single file so you get caught up behind runners that you would otherwise overtake. Well marshalled and a good long sprint finish at the end with plenty of support, and a medal for good measure. I'll be back next year. Unaffiliated 35:22 35:22 36:00 35:22 59.67
