B Rubble Great course - seems to be going downhill both out and back. Well marshalled, nice medal. Beautiful village and countryside. Not sure about twice around the village at the end. Interesting when it snowed at the start. Dursley Running Club 38:50 40:46 41:00 41:25 66.15

MarkC A PB by over 1 min, despite the fact that it was snowing on the start line! Very pleased with that. After a strong start I felt pretty rough from 3km to 7km. At 7km, realising that I had a PB for the taking if I upped my pace and effort, I pushed hard for home and suddenly found myself looking at sub-44mins. The icing on the cake was winning the closing sprint against the guy behind me who was after my place! This has become one of my favourite running events of all.
