Self D Planned to do this for three years, but falls on girlfriends birthday or thereabouts every year, doh! Managed to earn enough brownie points to get out there this year with a bunch of STARCers, wasn't disappointed at all! Amazingly beautiful run, tough terrain, plenty of scope to get lost despite only needing to run west, keeping sea on left. My sense of direction must suck ha! Was seriously warm this year, but just made the views more impressive, Portcurno looking like a postcard from the Carribean, jaw dropping. Loved this race, 100% pure love. Was aiming for sub 9hours, but even when I realised that I wasn't going to make the time, I didn't care. Was loving the experience too much to be bothered by time. Haven't felt more satisfied after any other race yet...will take some beating. TENTATIVE Unaffiliated 9:00:00 9:12:03 41.97
