Velociraptor What an excellent event in every way! I'm pleased with my time, even if the course was slightly short, and feel.I've purged myself of those dismal coastal trail marathon performances. Cumberland AC 3:36:39 3:56:22 4:41:49 51.11

Caterpillar The weather was crap last year. I HAVE to do this one again, and hope to be able to see the scenery this time. Just revised my estimate downwards. This is going to be a social run. *** RACE REPOT *** Absolutely dreadful. I'll put this in my training log, but the main thing is conditions were not right for me. I really cannot run in the cold. Lovely to see Velociraptor and El Bee and the Hippo and Chromey, and so many others but for me it was arctic. Really could not jump-start or even bump-start the legs, and my fingers were too cold to peel a banana. :-) Unaffiliated 3:36:10 3:36:10 4:45:00 4:47:28 48.23

Silver Strider Very strong wind against mainly first half. Behind us all the way home from Seven Sisters Country Park. Stunning views of the White Horse and across Cuckmere Valley from the Long Man Ridge. Stunning route, great range of terrain - (chalky paths, leafy muddy trails, open down land, the Stairway to Heaven, wooded trail, riverside path etc etc)

Calves recovered from Abingdon, quads still a tad tender. Innovates too tight will loose 3 toe nails. Difficult to deal with the down hill side of the Seven Sisters, had developed blood bliters on the end of toes by then.

If you like your trail races this is a must :-) Bexhill Runners and Triathletes 3:12:30 3:12:30 4:59:54 3:55:00 53.75
