WildeRover I think we will settle on a race distance of 9.8 miles this year. A slight tweak to the race route over last year (the last mile was the first mile in reverse, so down through the woods from the forest road to rail road path, rather than the rocky road descent of previous years). Probably made it very slightly shorter (by the odd 100m), but a bit quicker as the descent is nowhere near as treachorous (silly). All in all, happy with 3 mins 30 quicker than last year.......even allowing for tweaks, that's around 20 secs per mile. Lliswerry Runners 1:13:22 1:22:47 1:34:58 47.62
