RunningBob Wet, cold, bleak - I can't say that I enjoyed that. I ran along with Milemonster and watched Nexus Icon disappear into the distance. I was planning to pick it up a bit on the downhill return but by that time I was freezing cold and in the end just jogged back alone through puddles that got deeper and deeper. A PW for me 1:18 but I just couldn't run smoothly when I got so cold - I guess it was hard for everyone as I still ended up 6th. Whoever Time TBC. Simplest thing to say is - it rained the whole time! Quite enjoyed in strange kind of way, but shoes felt heavy and I seemed to always be going backwards. Its a good course - first half steadily uphill, second steadily down and ending in the Victoria Park athletics stadium. CottamRunner NB English Half Marathon - Warrington. Ran for AYME again - but in absolutely awful conditions (torrential rain) this time. Time yet TBC ..... as Garmin died at the start (so no splits.
