Enaoslm Enter on 27/08/10 so not much long distance running in the bag. Should be tough as off road and hilly.

OMG. That was one of the toughest events I've ever done, if not the toughest. Fantastic off-road course with beautiful scenery. Much hillier than I expected, even the down hills were tough due to the tree routes and pebbles we had to avoid. Felt really good up to that hill at 12 miles, which was unreal. Slowed down considerably after that due to relentless hills and terrain and exhaustion. Struggled home for last few miles but realised I came 25th overall and 8th in 31-40 category so I was extremely happy with that. Don't expect a pb on this course!! Ianmon Very hilly first marathon race for me - underestimated the effect of the climbs - basically had to walk all the climbs from about the halfway point. The main 100m climb over 1km absolutely killed me totally! Unaffiliated 4:32:01 4:32:01 4:00:00 4:32:01 49.23
iRunSmartPhil My very first marathon, really looking forward to it as it seems like I have been training all year. I love the idea of multi-terrain as I've decided that I am not a road warrior, I prefer a good mix and from what I've read this race will be a great one for me. I don't care about time, I just want to start and finish! Chineham Park Running Club, Zombies, Run! 4:45:06 4:57:46 5:00:00 5:47:40 37.86

jonnyhotpants A brilliantly organised race with loads of marshalls and food/drink stations. Despite the pain following my first marathon I think I'd do it again.

Simon L My 2nd Marathon. Ran London last year in 4 05. However, got cramp at 19 miles which put paid to plans of 3 45.
Do most of my running along the hills on the North Downs, so very much looking forward to racing in my own back yard, so to speak.
Ran yesterday. Very scenic course. Marshalling excellent. Unaffiliated 4:05:02 4:11:53 4:00:00 4:11:53 48.26
