MAD Superman Robin Hood Marathon. Went though half way in 89 and maintained sub 3 pace til 21m but died badly in the last 5m (the headwind at home pierrepont and along the trent didnt help). Fairly pleased seing I didn't really train nearly as hard as I did for London and only did 2 runs above 21m in the 3 months before. JamieKai *chameleon* First ever marathon, being used as a long slow run for Dublin 6 weeks later. Aiming to stick to 8:42/mile pace, but need to rein myself in as I'm always racing... Johnster It was a hot day but I was doing alright up to about the 19mile mark but then faded away badly; however never stopped running (be it a poor shuffle at the end) and there was some surprising hill in the first half I would loved to have hit my target but I must admit to being pleased just to have finished.
