Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Stubbington Green 10k - Bliddy hard work, 3.56, 4:07, 4:17, 4:08, 4:10, 4:08, 4:10, 4:17, 4:05, 3:55, but 10 secs quicker than 10k in Dec so a bit better. But very windy on the day....

3 min 57 sec per km pace is the plan to avoid going off too fast.

Was ~23 sec ahead of 40 min pace at 2, 3 & 4 km, then 15 sec ahead @ 5 km so I thought I was already going backwards before half-way and sub 40 min was not on.

First time at this one and really enjoyed it as conditions were good. Well off par performance but better than I thought I was gonna do. Hopefully will be back next year in better shape to do myself justice.
The Plodder
Not recording my actual time! PW as still feeling grotty so took it v v slowly and ran with a friend. Enjoyed it and felt ok at end.

My first 10k road race, aiming for sub 45 so well chuffed with this time. Position 256 out of 1328.
suukii
Interesting that I managed 54 exactly! Blustery run beter than I predicted, another reason to loose that extra stone! Another objective for Montpellier

Finally under 40 minutes!

A nice return to road racing following 5 weeks post Portsmouth Marathon. It's good to have my legs (finally) back :-).
Deejay8
This was my second race and my first over 10k.It was a windy morning, and a bit chilly, which made the section along the seafront quite difficult, but i enjoyed the race, although i struggled with my asthma over the last 1.5k,probably caused by the cold wind off the seafront.I really want to run this one again.
