Em Actually enjoyed this very much, has given me enthusiasm to try another half. Little disapointed with time but considering Id done hardly any running let alone distance training it isnt that bad. I managed to walk when I finished which is an improvement from last year. Left hip hurt by 10 miles and right knee sore, think I need better orthotics. Northern Exile This race was a real catalogue of disaster, am amazed I managed to finish with a half-decent time at all!! Had a lousy cold leading up to the race and was still suffering a bit on the day, also had a rotten journey down to Plymouth, flights were cancelled due to bad weather and it all got very messy. Stayed with a mate in Plymouth and he suffered on the day too, we weren't happy bears at the end of the race. Got nasty cramp too. Running Postie Great race,well organised and superb support.The weather was ideal not to hot with a cool breeze on the run in.The course is undulating but the better for it.Very pleased with my time the quickest i have ever run this course,roll on next year.
