BDR Hilly course. Went the wrong way on the start of the third lap, so not too happy about that. Still, at least I got out there and ran on Boxing Day! And 2 days after the event I have just realised that I managed to get another pb!! splits: 5.06, 5.20, 5.33, 6.01, 5.10 (unofficial time 27.11). Thanks to sanddancer for pointing out that I lost 31 seconds by going the wrong way. pb should have been 26.47! Team Milton Keynes 25:50 27:18 28:00 27:18 54.02
Gobi I feel fat and heavy after yesterdays excess but my base training has been going well so I am strong and fit. Will run hard from the gun and see what happens:¬) Not the most exciting course but enough hills and twists to make you work for your time. I enjoyed it even though I was a fat bloater. On the plus side, if I actually did one of these while light and on a flat course I think my PB could be in trouble. Probably my fastest 5k since 2002PB Cannock & Stafford AC 16:16 19:17 20:00 19:17 67.71
