Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

This event is listed on these dates:

A tough race but trotted the flats, dug deep on the ascents and went for it on the downs. Richard ran this one with me & in suggesting on the last climb that I could do this in sub 3 hours depending on "if i really wanted it" ...sod, it was like red rag, and on trashed legs I gave it all I had and came in at a very respectable time given my goal was 3.15!!!

Acsent 5000ft (advertised as 4500, but Garmin confirms the extra 500...so i'm told)
Running Fish
last minute decision to enter having read good things on a forum about the race. not disappointed, good race in area i've not been to before. sort of lake district lite in terms of terrain. nothing very steep, rocky, or long, but ups and downs all the way. should have paid more attention to forum advice regarding last 3 hills, was running near the top 20 until i hit them. blew up on the climbs and had a reasonably major fall on one of the decents. need more hill training.
