My first half-marathon. Chosen because it's also my home town and my parents live yards from the Princes Park start. Worried about the hilly bit though...
Don't know any Fetchies on the list yet but I will be wearing number 330 and a Fetch Shirt. If you see me, say Hi!
No idea what time I'll do as it's my first race at this distance. Hoping to run the whole way between 2:00:00 and 2:30:00 - finishing more important than time!
If I wasn't still in the toilet when the race started and had to work my way through the back runners and it hadn't been so windy along the seafront I think I could have run a few minutes quicker but still pleased with my time.
It was very cold, like freezing with a strong wind, took a while to warm up. But it was still great fun
Very strong headwind 4 - 9 miles.
Nice day and a good course with a climb up to Beachy Head, knee caused problems from about mile 7 onwards..
