Great race. Beautiful day. Wasn't feeling on top form before start but ran well. Slowly making progress to sub 1.30 half.
Garmn time and Official time!
Cool, crisp, sunny and...hilly!! Well, at the beginning and end anyway. Had predicted 2hr 10min so to finish in 2hr 1min was a bit unexpected but very welcome. Hit the wall at 12.5m, body had just about had enough and it took everything I had to get to the finish line. Really should train for 13 miles then, eh?
Such a lovely day. Did a bit better than I thought, but compared to last year a tiny bit slower, and that was without the fierce headwind and chill of last year.
good run today paced steve at 8;30to10 miles then pace picked up I was struggeling last 2 miles steve quite strong both finished at the same time, william 1;34 Robert 1:35 good day.
Beautiful day for running and a nice scenic course. On course for a PB till I hit the hill at 11 miles A real Fetch-fest today - lovely to see MeLAR and swittle who travelled up from Englandshire
