Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

This kind of race is in the lap of the gods
Only the 2nd time I've done this race, 1st time was in 1992 and didn't recoed a time so can't say really what I could predict.
Finished 9th overall - lost a couple of places on the massive hill on the downhill, when people with less concern for their limbs, turned their bodies into ad hoc sleighs and gained about 30s on me!!!
Extremely tough off road/cross country race up the Knoll (450 ft.).It has been very wet ,so this made it all the more challenging. There is over a 1/4 mile of bog to run through there and back. Not one of my favourite races. However I had to do it as it was the last race in the Somerset series and my final position depended on this.
Came second in the race so have to be pleased with that.
This is where i pulled my hamstring och.....
