Tick Tock Tim Did the Coniston Plus earlier this year which was around the same distance, paid for lack of long runs that day so building suffient LR into this race.
Garmin time: pleased with this. Ideal running conditons. first 10k were no probs and paced myself at 7mph, ok til switchback at other side of FRB when needed toilet. Sadly, no toilet til I found a spot outside Dalmeny. Found last 5km hard, not much in the tank then. Saw a guy getting CPR on route in Kirkliston, hope he's ok.
Well organised, would do again. Need more hill training and hopeful a more settled tum next time Unaffiliated 2:20:39 2:20:39 2:20:00 2:20:39 52.66

FitterStu Had a nightmare. My achilles was sore pretty much from the start. So much so that I considered just dropping out right away. I pressed on and it didn't get any worse and wasn't overly bothering me. From the 11th mile, though the calf on the other leg started cramping and I pretty much had to run/walk the rest. It wasn't fun. I'm going to have a rest for a couple of weeks. Unaffiliated 3:08:15 3:08:15 2:45:00 3:08:15 41.36
