HappyTimes Only decided for sure I was doing this one on morning of race (not best way of going about things). Was my first ever 5k race and with Stirling only 1 week away and the relative disappointment of Perth was great to get a Unaffiliated 18:08 19:26 20:59 20:12 65.07
toepointer What a steep, long hill in this 5k! Nice race though, finished third woman and was at least under 22 mins so respectable time. Felt good considering I did a one day event on my horse yesterday and had just recovered from Swine Flu, unfortunatley the compartment syndrome came on at about 3.5k and was just hanging on, slowed down a little as can't push off my left leg when it happens. I had hoped it might have cleared up, what with stopping the heel raises, but unfortunately not; MRI scan on the 29th Sep and might need an operation to get rid of it.
