dont vote, it's a week before Highland Fling which is very important race to me
Delighted with that. Could have got sub 2 with a faster start but great run and preparation for marathon.
Organisation was mostly fine, just the wait for the buses at the end was a bit off-putting. Weather was rubbish but probably made for very good running conditions, just a bit uncomfortable at times. Great support from Fetchies, running and supporting.
Was a bit of a struggle in the wind today ,but got a wee pb so thats always pleasing
Went fairly well - just not as well as I wanted. Sorry punters, that extra minute was not to be found anywhere. Thanks, Fetchpointers and good to see all the others at the race and after.
Not trained as much I would have liked for this and worrying about the wind but will take it as it comes..... hope I can settle down and enjoy myself !
Tough run today on a cold morning with a nasty headwind until the turn at 10 miles. Pleased to finish 8th overall and possibly 1st M40.
Was flippin Freezin out there but great running conditions...laid my 90 min HM hoodoo to bed at long last so happy as Larry. ........Have to say organisitaion much improved this year and all went well so fair play to the organisers....great to see all the local runners out in force and great support form the sidelines...
This will be my first half marathon!
Nervous, but training hard for it and really looking forward to it
Did this as a training run to practise pacing & fuelling for Edinburgh marathon next month - fuelling was okay, pacing was carp
Great run. Really pushed it and managed a few miles under 8 mins. Tried to pace about 8 minute miles. Really wet and windy conditions. Freezing cold.

Sorry for the guys who placed bets on me - Got a pb but too windy to get under my predicted time.
Good time PB it was 9miles running into the wind and rain!!!!
absolutely freezing, but not a bad run after all
Beat my 1.45 (just). Pretty much on 8 minute miles most of the way round...able to speed up over last 2 miles and at end felt could have gone a wee bit quicker. Have the race bug back.
Found ths hard going and didn't feel fit. Still enjoyed it though!! Just about defrosted now.
Weather terrible cold, wet and windy. Seemed to be running into a head wind for most of the race. It was great to turn at Prestonpans and have the last 3 miles with the wind at your back.
First attempt at a half marathon. Anxious beforehand to maintain pace and form at higher level and for longer compared to any previous run. Am recent convert to heart rate monitor training and Chi running and am convinced both approaches help a lot in avoiding injury and stress to knees etc as well as general 'wellbeing'. Despite wet, cold and at times windy weather, very much enjoyed the run and also greatly appreciated the support from other fetchies.
Had a good run - pleased with my time, PB by 10 seconds!!
Very happy with time.
2nd Half Marathon. Made a PB.
