milemonster Came 16th last year in 33m27s. This year I came 15th in a time of 33m04s. So better than last year so I'm pleased with that. Last year's positions in league: 3 - Bangor: 11th 4 - Wrexham: 12th 5 - Oswestry: 15th Wrexham AAC 32:37 33:00 33:04 71.68
Team Win Didnt have a great run but at least it was an improvement on last week's race in that I got round injury-free (blister excepted). 49th place in a time of 35m32s which is worst placing in 3 years of doing the North Wales League although teammates positions seem to suggest the standard was slightly higher in the 25-50th region this year. Hoping to be fitter for the next round on 10th October. Team's result was well down on last year's with Telford AC, Wrexham AC and 1 or 2 other clubs fielding stronger teams but hoping 218 pts is good enough for 4th. Shrewsbury AC 35:30 35:32 66.71
