CaniRuna This was no PB course in the end. First half was fine and I was through 5k in 18:56 and feeling good. However, second half was more undulating than expected, with one quite long and steep climb which ruined any chances I had of a PB. Pleased with finishing place in the end, 16th but the time wasn't particularly hot (39:19) unlike the weather. Apologies to those who bet on me, this was quite a bad flunk - back to the drawing board and more hillwork/strength work required.
