45th last year- so aim to improve position. I think I was outside top 50. a really tough 12k with undulations, mud hills and no chance to settle in a rhythmn. fell in the ditch on lap 2 losing 5 places maybe, but composed myself to only lose and gain one position on last lap. 52nd.

Finished 142nd out of 354.. Had a pretty rubbish run really...just no strength in my legs...also it was so cold I my arms were going numb etc. Hopefully will do better at the National XC!
JAnders
Finished 106th.
coyley1
Tough race conditions. Very cold with the terrain a mixture of mud and bone hard rutted ground.
Team Win
Had a terrible run. Tracked Paul Clark for 20 mins and felt comfortable working through the field but then gradually got a side stitch in right side which got worse and worse as the race went on and effectively jogged the last 30 mins. Worrying as this is the 4th or 5th time its happened in a race. Will try doing the North Wales League next week which is a 1.5 mile shorter but if it happens again will see doctor.
Boycie
Tough tough tough. And to think it all looked so green and pleasant at the start! 3 laps of ditches sileage mud and other delights! Knackered now!
molarman
Mud,mud, mud and running with injury. Not very happy
wobble legs
1st race after injury
Wally
A long hard slog through thick mud on a freezing cold January day with a bitter wind. What could be a better way to spend a Saturday :-) ? Quite pleased with my run considering lack of training and giving blood the night before!
