EdJ Superb organisation once again - I thought the car parking arrangements worked particularly well, and it seemed that there was hardly any time spent waiting for the shuttle busses. Although it was quite funny watching people trying to make their way down the stairs of a double decker bus the wrong side of a half marathon. I preferred this to the stress of worrying about getting stuck in that muddy field. Pleased with another PB, particularly as the week before had not been great. Lieutenant Lucerne Half way in 44:07, then reached 9 miles in a steady 1:00:35, only to be overtaken by about five runners on the downhill section at 10 miles. Managed to catch them all up with a strong finish over the last 3.1 miles and a new PB. Unaffiliated 1:25:52 1:27:11 1:27:11 73.25
