Training going well. So lets go for a PB. Not how the hill rumours will effect the time. UPDATE Watch time
tom_craggs
Pleased, had I know I was going to go this close to 1.19 I think i could have kicked a bit harder...but totherwise pretty much the quickest I could do over this course on this day.
Vicksta
Bit disappointed to have just missed out on the sub 1:40. Still, not a bad race, definitely more challenging than St Neots. Enjoyed the run, but some way off top form. 61st female, 22nd FV35
la bandit
like this race always seem to run well here
Lieutenant Lucerne
Half way in 44:07, then reached 9 miles in a steady 1:00:35, only to be overtaken by about five runners on the downhill section at 10 miles. Managed to catch them all up with a strong finish over the last 3.1 miles and a new PB.
Martyn Fisher
Very pleased with my best time on this (tricky) course. An improvement of 2½ minutes on last year's time. And as usual, Bedford Harriers put on a great show.
gbrodie
my first "good" race felt steady whole why , focused and kept pushing on, didn't stop once even to walk - yeh!
flanker
pacing JJF to a sub 1:45 debut!
jules_perox
Paced a friend...
MarcH
Good, strong run as part of recovery from the Luton Marathon the week before.
EdJ
Superb organisation once again - I thought the car parking arrangements worked particularly well, and it seemed that there was hardly any time spent waiting for the shuttle busses. Although it was quite funny watching people trying to make their way down the stairs of a double decker bus the wrong side of a half marathon. I preferred this to the stress of worrying about getting stuck in that muddy field. Pleased with another PB, particularly as the week before had not been great.
hatterfan
Well organised race - thanks Bedford Harriers! Great Rugby shirt too!
JovialGnome
Managed 3 miles of this one last year before pulling out with a sprained ankle - I will do better this year!
Enjoyed it more than I expected to, lost a couple of close family members this week so the pb is in their memory!
Nightjar
Been coaching group out on Saturdays to help them train for this so ran around towards the back in support. They all finished ahead of me! Chip time was a bit faster I think, or possibly the other way around.
terrydown
if its hilly hope to beat my burnham beeches 1.41.01
UPDATE,
i hear the first half is hilly so hopefully under 1;45..

Loved it! Well, apart from that hill at mile 7, we'll gloss over that. Great to see loads of familiar faces there
stacky

KinkyS
Pacing for 8mm and a 1:45 finish. Job done, and comfortably.
Daddy long legs
Fantastic race. Great Club. Great morning but no pb
Slow Going
hell yeah
Rken
Good race, cold start , slight wind, rain at 9 miles temporarily, started with Neil Shepherd, then joined Tanya and Lorraine, liked terrain apart from uphill finish, legs tired but calf survived! Chuffed
Smile2
great race :) just ran it instead of racing it, I think that if I hadn't been stuck at the bottle neck at the beginning I might have pb'd - very happy indeedy though with this
JEJ
9 @ MP + 4 faster. 3rd place overall.
