Had an OK run. Certainly better than last year.
Didn't get an exact time, but know it was just over the 1 hour mark. Pretty pleased as I hadn't trained much for it and was just glad to get around it without stopping.

Was taken by surprise by the conditions, was cross-country at times.
UPDATE - official time so just scraped a PB. Felt pretty awful - closest I've come yet to vomiting at the end of a race, but course was quite nice, if a bit muddy, and weather perfect...pretty good all round, except for the running bit!
El Del
A good traffic free flat course, although a bit slippy underfoot at parts, and difficult to pass other athletes at certain sections due to narrow paths. KM makers were totally inaccurate and made pacing hard.
worked quite hard but almost ended up in the water van with my sprint finish.
I don't know what my 'official' time was but 57:01 was on my watch (I started at the back!) and that's what I'm going with. Brilliant, relatively low key race and will return next year...
Alf Tupper Tough of the Track
2nd ever race and much better idea of how to pace myself. Felt strong throughout and loved the home leg from Lambhill.
