First race back from injury havent run 5 miles since 3 Jan Centurion, run will be hard today. Considering Ive been out for nearly 4 months this was a pleasing run ws fine until about 4.5 miles when I just died had nothing left for the last half mile. 2nd fastest time of the series so have to be pleased wth that.
ChickenLegs
Best day of the series, nice and sunny just a slight wind on the home run. Took it easy as it's was my 2nd run since the 3rd Jan race happy with my time it's a good starting point.
Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs)
Centurion 5 mile, multiple laps through a park, decided to keep as close to 7mm as I could but not push it as VLM in 2 weeks, set off well, good steady run, nearly had a mishap in mile 4 when a small child ran in front of me :-O fought hard to hold off chap who had been trying to pass me from 1.5 miles, and succeeded but was pipped at the finish by another runner, who to be fair shouted words of encouragement to me :-) 2nd lady to finish, new PB and 1st in category :-) Nice to meet Chickenlegs :-)
