Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Update : - very wet - pushed quite hard - but was a slightly different ending with more hills at end - plus I measured 0.71 miles over...ah well will be back next year!
Enjoyed it. Kick up the whatsit to get training again though.

it was 8.71 miles according to the garmin wearers on the day!
No idea of what will happen. Am hoping to finish in under 90 mins with WW:-)
Expect to get very muddy!

***UPDATE*** Did get very wet cold and muddy!
Loved every minute of the event.
Time was good considering how long it tool to get through the mud bogs and some of the ravines.
Another returning for the 4th year! Was the best run ever last year!!

RESULT: I got round only fell once! Went down like a sack of spuds at mile 4 in the sloppy muddy ravine! Luckily was not trampled! How muddy was it??? Well I think it was the BESt ever!!!
hard race, very very wet and very very muddy, actual distance almost 9 miles
Back again for more cold, wet and muddy fun!!
That was harder work than last year (anyone remember how COLD it was last year?) - I found it harder than the Borden Turbo X a fortnight ago - still, it's always good fun to wade through a load of muddy puddles
Several walking sections as the wettest grim yet. Had to remove shoe at one point too. Tired at start!
Very very muddy and wet and how could I have forgotten about the hills!!!
bob hopeless
cold, wet, good race
